In 2005, BBBBIV featured all of the usual trail runs and shenanigans but the most significant thing that happened that year was dedicating the Alan Rowe Monument on Heartbreak Ridge, a tribute to fallen So Cal Broncos member, USMC Major Alan Rowe who was KIA in Iraq less than a year before. The monument had been installed a few weeks prior on Memorial Day.
